Fall Wave Reflection

The actual colors of this image are quite different than what you see here. First, there are more greens, the blues and reds are more saturated, and the whole image has more contrast than you see here. In addition, the sweeping lines of the water are much more defined in the actual image. This makes the final image much more like a painting of individual swipes of the brush than a photograph. (If you look in the right half of the image you can sort of see what I mean about individually painted lines.) Although I usually come extremely close, due to the constraints of my slide-scanner, this is the best image I could produce. Personally, this is one of the top three images I took on this trip, so I'm quite frustrated that I can't reveal what I actually saw here.
