The way that I'll be preparing these will make them perfect gifts: They will be ready for framing, but I won't do any permanent adhering, mounting, or fixing so if you, or the person you give it to, wants to put on a different mat or modify it in any way, this can be easily done.

Let me explain: These images will be sold with a black, glossy, mat, cut to the image size, with a matboard or foamcore backing. BUT, I will not mount the image to the backing (usually the entire image is permanently adhered to the backing), and I won't use mounting tape that glues the cut mat (the mat you see) to the image-backing (foamcore or matboard). Instead, I will hinge the image to the backing and then hinge the cut-mat to the backing (all hinges will be of acid-free tape). This creates a ready to frame gift (all it needs is the glass and a frame) that can easily be modified.

All images are 7.5 x 11.5 and the outer total framing area is 12 x 16 (giving a 2 inch border all the way around the print.)
